On April 8th, 2015, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) issued permits to Transcontinental Gas Pipeline Company, LLC, for it’s “Leidy Southeast Expansion Project”. In New Jersey, that project includes two loops. The “Skillman Loop” cuts through Montgomery and Princeton townships while the “Pleasant Run Loop” cuts through Clinton, Readington, and Branchburg townships. The Watershed Association along with New Jersey Conservation Association and Friends of Princeton Open Space have filed a legal challenge of the permits issued by NJDEP. The matter is currently pending in court.
