With the pandemic changing how we can offer summertime activities, we regretfully won’t be able to run our typical Watershed Nature Camp and Watershed Academy for High School Students. We’ve designed three options for various ages and hope you will join us!
Our Watershed Family Camp will be one-day and two-day programs, running 2.5 hours in the morning and afternoon for parents and their children. Groups will be limited to approximately 10 people, with two Watershed staff instructing from an appropriately safe distance.
Family Campers will enjoy similar water, nature, and outdoor skills and crafts themes as those previously offered at the Watershed Nature Camp.Family Camp Offerings
Backyard Odyssey includes two different take-home kits full of fabulous activities to engage children in nature-based play. Have an adventure in your own backyard or local park.
Kits will contain instructions, supplies, and equipment for a week’s worth of outdoor fun, as well as a few indoor activities for stormy days.Backyard Odyssey Kits
Watershed Summer Explorations is a series of webinars and interactive remote sessions will cover a wide range of topics for teens and adults.
Specialists from The Watershed Institute and outside experts will engage learners in exploring natural history, freshwater ecology, climate change, environmental protection, home energy conservation and more.Watershed Explorations
Our Promise to You!
While we can’t replicate our traditional course offerings this summer, we will do everything we can to make this a safe, fun and affordable activity for you, your family and friends.
We’ve done our best to price these offerings reasonably and we invite you to contribute what is affordable while helping The Watershed Institute exist without our revenues from our usual slate of programming and activities.
