Join us at 1 p.m. on Feb. 4 for a free showing of Tapped. This 2009 documentary film on bottled water will help you see that this seemingly clean industry is not what it appears to be.
The film shows how some manufacturers use tap water, estimates the fossil fuels needed to create the plastic bottles and cart the water across the globe, and reveals how some companies outright steal this precious resource in public areas. You will come away never looking at bottled water the same again.
Join us for free environmental film screenings at the Watershed Center every first Sunday of the month at 1 p.m. Screenings include a variety of topics and film styles including documentaries and major motion pictures. Enjoy free, local, organic popcorn at the show and spend some time on the beautiful Watershed Reserve before and after the movie. Stick around after the film – occasionally we host environmental speakers to discuss topics, answer questions, and expand on the work of the filmmakers. Registration is not required. Walk-ins are welcome!
