Come meet Oliver Crane, the World’s Youngest Solo Transatlantic Rower, at the Watershed Center on Sunday, March 11 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. The New Jersey native graduated from the Peddie School in Hightstown and completed his 44 day, 2,700 mile transatlantic trip before his first year at Princeton University. At 19 years old, he has raised $62,000 in support of Ocean Conservation and homelessness.
The Watershed Association welcomes Oliver to speak about his journey, inspiration, and the supported causes behind his feat. He learned about the importance of ocean health and water quality first hand. Hear about his solar powered water purifier and dehydrated food diet as well as his high-tech onboard toilet.
Come see Oliver’s 23-ft boat on display and ask him about his ocean adventure. The 4 p.m. presentation will be followed by a brief Q&A with drinks and refreshments. This event is free and open to the public. Click to RSVP online.
