Ever wonder about the wildflowers and plants you spot during strolls in the spring and early summer outdoors? Join Kate Lepis, Ph.D., an adjunct professor biology at Monmouth University for an evening adult education course as part of our “Learning the Language of Nature” series – Wednesdays, May 10 – June 14.
Embark on field trips at the Watershed’s Reserve, as well as other natural sites in central New Jersey while attending classes at the Watershed Center in Hopewell Township to learn about plant evolution, reproduction, morphology and physiology.
Enjoy six Wednesday evening classes from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. plus three Saturday morning field trips on May 20, June 3 and June 10.
Taught by faculty from local colleges and universities, the Language of Nature series of courses provide a relaxed atmosphere for an enriched learning experience. There are no tests, papers, or projects. All that is required is interest and attendance.
Enrollment is $245 ($195 for members) and the class size is limited to 15 people.
