We’ve recently launched a challenge to encourage people to protect our waterways and explore our River-Friendly Resident Program.
The River-Friendly Program, at the heart of our mission, is one of the main ways we raise awareness about the impact of human activities on our local streams, lakes, and rivers. You can learn more by taking our easy survey and exploring how one’s behavior in homes, yards, and gardens affect our waterways.
If you qualify as a River-Friendly resident, you will be entered into our River-Friendly Resident Challenge. Four lucky winners will be randomly selected, one in early October and three in December. The prizes are:
- A $250 voucher for the Watershed Nature Camp/Academy 2020.
- Four tickets to Origins of Halloween Night Hike October on Saturday 26, 2019
- Four tickets to Maple Sugaring Brunch on February 29, 2020
- A 50-gallon rain barrel
