Watershed to Watershed Bike Tour Oct. 7

Explore the Lawrence-Hopewell Trail (LHT) by bike as part of the River Days celebration sponsored by the William Penn Foundation. Learn all about your local watersheds and get some exercise at this fun, free event. Join our Teacher-Naturalist staff for this wheeled weekend tour 9am-12pm.

Start the morning with refreshments at the Watershed Center before a bike ride along the LHT to Lawrenceville and back with a picnic lunch provided.

Discover the dividing line between the Delaware River and the Millstone River watersheds while enjoying the world along this growing pathway.

Adults and families are welcome to attend. Varying fitness levels are accommodated. The trails are a mix of paved and stone dust/ gravel surfaces with very little elevation change. The route covers approximately 10-12 miles round trip of mostly flat leisurely riding and requires two short sections along road connections.
