Work Groups

Corporate, School, and Organization Work Days

Organize a group from your business, school, or other organization to work on a project at the Watershed. Your team (5-15 people) will be instrumental in helping us with our mission to restore and create healthy, ecologically functioning habitats on the Watershed Reserve.

The Watershed Reserve spans 950 acres of forest, wetlands, meadows, farmland; these habitats require upkeep by staff and volunteers to restore native plant communities, which in turn provide a healthy environment for people and wildlife, and which filter for clean water. We will be undertaking a variety of land stewardship including meadow plant installations, invasive plant control, native tree plantings, and maintenance of our habitat restoration sites.

Workgroups are usually held during the workweek, but on occasion, we can accommodate a request for a Saturday or Sunday. Our stewardship/ conservation season runs roughly from early April–mid November depending, of course, on the weather.

All volunteer hours are logged online through the Watershed volunteer hours trackerYou’ll receive that link after submitting your volunteer information form.
