Organic Farm

Demonstration of responsible land management continues to be a primary focus on the Watershed Reserve. Since 1991, a portion of the Reserve has been leased to Honey Brook Organic Farm (formerly known as the Watershed Organic Farm). This privately owned and operated enterprise provides fresh organic produce annually from May to November to about 3,200 shareholders through its Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.

Under the stewardship of farmer Jim Kinsel, Honey Brook Organic Farm serves to showcase successful soil and water management practices and the viability of organic farming, while providing educational opportunities for young and old alike. They grow 60 different types of crops and over 350 varieties! Visit their website to purchase a share and support your community agriculture.
