Stewardship is the practice of protecting, managing and restoring ecosystems.
Invasive species and an overabundant deer population have put a lot of pressure on our ecosystem, and sound stewardship practices can help to combat and reverse those negative impacts.
We have a dedicated team of land stewards who are out on the reserve every day! They’re assessing the quality of the land, managing invasive plants, protecting high quality habitats, restoring meadows and planting native species.
We would not be able to accomplish many of our goals without the hard work of individual and corporate volunteers. If you are interested in working in nature for a good cause, then we would like to hear from you!
