The Watershed Association is dedicated to protecting clean water and the environment in central New Jersey and beyond. The Watershed Institute program embodies this commitment to environmental protection throughout New Jersey.
The Watershed Institute promotes the health and resiliency of New Jersey’s watersheds by strengthening, connecting, and mobilizing watershed organizations. The Institute strives to build capacity and partnerships among watershed organizations and the broader conservation community to inspire a shared vision for the protection of watersheds across the state.
The Institute accomplishes its goals by organizing workshops and meetings, providing small grants, promoting communication and partnerships, sharing best practices and lessons learned across the watershed community, and coordinating action to address priority issues.
