Professional Resources – Overview

The Watershed Institute Resource Center, a program formerly known as The Watershed Institute, was established in 2000 to focus on promoting the health and resiliency of New Jersey’s watersheds by strengthening, connecting, and mobilizing watershed organizations.

Today, the Resource Center services the entire state of New Jersey, assisting nonprofits, watershed/specialized professionals, environmental advocates, and community members in their efforts to protect local watersheds. We do this by providing relevant programming, professional development, continuing education, policy guidance, career resources, and more.

For more information about the work that we do throughout the state, as well as information and resources to help strengthen efforts, check out the pages below! For any questions or concerns, please contact us at poliveira@thewatershed.org.
