NJDEP Commissioner Slated for our Annual Meeting 2022

On April 25, The Watershed Institute will hold its 2022 Annual Meeting at the Watershed Center.

The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. with light refreshments and the meeting will start at 6 p.m.

Commissioner Shawn M. LaTourette of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection will be featured as our guest speaker. He is responsible for driving environmental policy while directing programs that protect public health and ensure the quality of New Jersey’s air, land, water, and natural and historic resources. He was appointed by Gov. Phil Murphy on June 14, 2021, after serving as Acting Commissioner since January 16, 2021.

The meeting also will include an awards ceremony for distinguished volunteers, Watershed members, and a local educator who have helped us with our mission to keep our water clean, safe, and healthy.
